INTERREGIONAL EXCHANGE ON AEROSPACE AND ADVANCED MATERIALS

Strategies and perspectives of European regional policies within the Interreg Europe project
P2L2 – Public Policy Living Laboratory
Turin, 22 February 2018

The strengthening of regional innovation policies related to the use of advanced materials, in particular in the aerospace sector, as enabling tools (KETs) within the general framework of the ERDF programs and the Smart Specialization Strategy, is among the main objectives of the European P2L2 project ( Public Policy Living Lab) in which the Competitiveness Department of the Regional System of the Piedmont Region participates.
The project, funded by the Interreg Europe Program, benefits from over 1.7 million euros over four years to contribute to strengthening of regional policies and identifying opportunities for collaboration between the world of production and research through valorisation and transfer of good practices.
On the occasion of the conclusion of the first two-year project, the Piedmont Region and the other partners from Germany, Denmark, Lithuania, Poland and France will share their action plans indicating strategies and perspectives in relation to regional policies on aerospace and advanced materials.
The event also aims to constitute a moment of exchange and debate between project representatives, stakeholders and the public.
The works, in English, will be held from 10h to 13:15 at the Circolo dei Lettori, via G. Bogino, 9 – Turin.
Moderos: Tanja Woronowicz (University of Bremen) and Eng. Piero Messidoro
